Any pharmacy faculty or staff member
is eligible for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Mentor of the
Year award. An exceptional mentor should be a role model who is available
to assist students, not only in their classes, but possibly in such areas
as finding internships, discussing career opportunities, helping with organizational
activities, encouraging life-long learning, and planning for the future.
The interaction between a student and his/her mentor generally occurs one-on-one
and is more relationship-based.
To nominate a faculty or staff member, complete this form. Due Date: October 20
Nominees will be contacted and will submit a description of activities
that illustrate his/her mentoring/advising involvement. Class representatives
will review the applicatons and announcement of the receipient will be
made during Pharmacy and Health Sciences Day.
